If your work involves creating web sites, an interesting way to show off your portfolio is to create a screensaver. When the computer is idle, your work will be displayed automatically in a slide show. You can find many programs which will help you create screensavers with any images, but when it comes to web sites, Live Screensaver Creator is the ideal tool. It will create a slideshow with web sites and all you have to do is specify their URLs.

The software can be used free of charge for 21 day, after which you will need to buy a license. It is compatible with most Windows versions, including the later ones, like Vista or Win 7. The setup file is roughly 4 and a half Mb large and it will install the program in a few seconds.

Web sites or pages can be added to a list, on the software's interface. Simply type or paste a URL, in the file above the list, and click an Add button. You may add as many sites as you need to. With the buttons found on the left side of the window, URLs can be moved up or down in the list, removed or edited, in case you spell one wrong. The compiled list can be saved as a file, in the software's own format or as a plain .txt file. If you need to create the screensaver again, you can simply load your saved list.

Clicking the Test button, in the window's lower left corner, will run the screensaver without creating it. You also have the possibility to change the time delay between the slides, shuffle them and choose how to exit the screensaver (keyboard button or mouse movement, ESC button, etc). Creating the screensaver will take a few seconds. Just click the Create button, set an output path and the screensaver will be ready.

The screensaver will be created as a setup kit and a wizard will install it after a few simple steps. When the screensaver is running, you can browse the pages which are being displayed. You may click any link or button. They will work just like in a web browser. You only need to set the ESC button as the exit key if you want to navigate successfully.
